Dupax del Sur, Nueva Vizcaya. A state-of-the-art building will soon rise at the headquarters of the Nueva Vizcaya Electric Cooperative (Nuvelco) located in Brgy. Gabut, Dupax del Sur, this province.
This move is due to the desire of the officers and management to vacate the old administrative building which was constructed more than thirty (30) years ago. Technical inspection conducted by the building officials of the Dupax del Sur and the DPWH five (5) years ago reveals that the existing old building is already considered as condemned and unsafe as working place.
Due to lack of funds, the plan to commence the construction of the building has been stalled for several times to give way to the funding of improvement of service of lines and addresses the different concerns of the member-consumers.
It is expected that the construction of the building will kick-off on the first quarter of the year 2017.
