NEA conducts evaluation of NUVELCO’s workplan

The National Electrification Administration represented by Ms. Angie Caalaman and Mr. Guilbert Carlos of the Institutional Development Department conducted an evaluation of NUVELCO’s accomplishments for the year 2022.

Part of the evaluation consists of the financial, technical and institutional aspects of the cooperative’s operation. They also visited the Governor Carlos Padilla, Mayor Tony Bagasao and SMU President John Octavious S. Palina as part of the evaluation.

The NEA Team will conduct a week-long evaluation and after which an exit conference shall be conducted on the result of their evaluation.

NUVELCO Towards Renewable Energy Project

In line with the desire to harness the potential of the natural resources and reduce system loss, Nuvelco technical team attended the Conference on Renewable Energy on January 18, 2022 at NEA Main Office, Manila.

Nuvelco’s participation in the said conference is among the initial steps undertaken by management to venture on renewable energy to address the looming crisis on energy.

GM Fredel Salvador assures that management will bend towards the development of renewable energy.

Nuvelco expressed support to the leadership of NEA Admin Almeda

The Nuvelco Board Directors and management pays a courtesy call to NEA Administrator Antonio C. Almeda and expressed strong support to his leadership and administration.

In a resolution of support adopted by the Board and management, Nuvelco assures that Admin Almeda's mandate and vision for the ECs and MCOs will be fully supported.

While the Nuvelco workforce signs a separate manifesto of support.

𝐍𝐮𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐈𝐒𝐎 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭

NUVELCO successfully PASSED the ISO Standards Certification Audit ISO 9001-2015 QMS with Zero Major Non-Conformance.
This feat is a result of almost a year of preparation, documentation, internal audit of process, and series of management review. NUVELCO management have initiated this certification to sustain and improved efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
GM Fredel Salvador, during his speech on the closing meeting and announcement of audit results, expressed his appreciation to all the workforce of NUVELCO for actively participated and supported the journey to ISO certification.
NUVELCO sustains its Quality Management System (QMS) effectiveness which reaffirms the coop's compliance to international standards of service and continue aiming and achieving excellence#
